Portrait of Laxman, the windmill guard from Jayanawadi village of Maharashtra. Curious about photography, as i was shooting in his premises he spotted me there in night, since i was doing my work, he did not disturbed me. We meet in morning, had some discussion regarding wild life, the rains and people around. On my next visit he arranged food for us, I will never forget this man very kind and gentle.
दत्तोबा!
अापण दत्तोबांसारखे नशीबवान! अाकाशातल्या मुक्त ढगांच्या रंगांचा कॅनव्हास व चांदण्यांचा सहवास नेहमीच बघावयास योग्य जागी योग्य वेळी असण्याची भाग्य लाभलयं! लाखो रुपये मिळतील म्हणुन मनाविरुध्द, एथिक्स सोडुन काम करण नाही जमत, जमनारही नाही. बर्याच लोकांना हे रंग खोटे असल्याचा भास होतो! हो खरच काही लोकांना विश्वासच बसत नाही हे असं दिसतं निसर्गात, कारण डोळे वर करुन अाकाशाकडे बघायला वेळच नसतो, कारण त्यांच जगणं मुळात स्वतंसाठी नसतच, ह्या चंगळवादी जगात ते गहाण असतं वित्तसंस्थांकडे! प्रदुषन, वातावरणातील धुळ, हवेतील अाद्रता ह्या सगळ्यांचा योग्य समतोल असला की अापला पिक्चर पाणचट हिंदी सिनेमापेक्षा भारी होणारं हा विश्वास ठासुन अाहे अापल्यात!
तिरढ्यातले दत्तोबा भेटले, काय करतोय हे सागीतल्यावर काल याहीपेक्षा भारी होतं म्हटले.
दत्तोबा गायी घेऊन निघालेत, २०-२५ गायी, एक पिशवीभर सामान खाली घाट उतरुन कडव्याच्या खोर्यात चार महीणे काढणार, वर डोंगर माथ्यावर गायींना चारा, पाणी नाही म्हणुन भटकंती. परिसरातील बिबट्याची भीती नाही की चेहर्यावर निराशा नाही, डोळ्यात प्रचंड समाधान व अाशावाद! ते नेहमीच अनुभवत असलेल्या भन्नाट कॅनव्हासमध्ये त्यांनाही सामावण्याचा मोह मला अावरला नाही.

A WOMAN GOING THROUGH A VINEYARD, ON A FOGGY MORNING, INDIA. IN INDIA THOUGH WOMAN ARE NOT ACTIVE SO MUCH IN CORPORATE WORLD, BUT IN AGRICULTURE WOMAN TAKE ACTIVE PART, AND MOST OF THEM ARE RESPONSIVE & SENSITIVE TO CROPS AND THEIR WORK. WE ARE PROUD!!
Promising young shepherd was feeding his lambs at the end of the day. These people use the bamboo sticks for controlling the lambs & for rest a while standing behind the ships & goats. Off-course this gave me opportunity to take beautiful portrait of this young man.

“VILLAGE LIFE”
Colorful Wall, in North Western Ghats, Maharashtra, India. People here in this part of the world choose very vivid colors for their doors and walls; i am always amazed with their sense of colors!
“Dhangars” are Indian nomadic people, mainly these people live in western ghats of Maharashtra. They travel with there lambs, and all the livelihood year around to feed themselves as well as there lambs. I saw there camp while on way to AAD FORT. The morning golden light made the picture more beautyful.
A Woman from Pattewadi village, came to feed her cattle’s. The early monsoon this year has given some relief to the pain.
Dhangar Girl
She was willing to get herself photographed look at her, even the heard is moving ahead she is still looking, She was not afraid of the camera. I was photographing there movements when they were passing by the road. “Dhangar” the shepherd people of Maharashtra, India. these people grow lambs and cattle’s to make their living, largely spread in Maharashtra’s Pune, Ahemadnagar and Nashik districts. They used to migrate in summer for water and food for there cattle’s and lambs. So many days of the year they make camps open to sky.
While trekking through Sahyadri, we meet this old lady, was in her late 70 but when she walked there was no sign of her age, very steady. She and her husband were about to cross a mountain, to meet there daughter, walked distance of around 25 kms. through mountains.
